Inclusive Training & Consultancy for Organisations
In addition to one-to-one mentoring, I support organisations through anti-racist practice training and inclusive workplace consultancy. My sessions offer a safe and honest space for professionals to reflect, grow, and build practices rooted in equity and inclusion. I also deliver child-focused recording training to improve the way practitioners engage with children and families—ensuring language is centred on the child’s voice and experience. This strengthens social work at every level, from early help to care planning. Anti-Racist Practice discussions with Local Authorities
At CG’s Rise and Thrive Mentoring & Consultancy, I am proud to have successfully facilitated a series of Anti-Racist Practice discussions with Local Authorities, generating deep reflection, meaningful dialogue, and practical change. Each session has encouraged professionals to critically examine their practice, challenge bias, and strengthen how they work with both colleagues and families. These conversations are not only transformative on an individual level, but they also deliver tangible organisational benefits, including improved team culture and more equitable service delivery. Supervised/support family contact.
At CG Rise & Thrive, we offer privately arranged supervised/supported contact for families who require support in maintaining safe and positive relationships. This service is available when contact is not directed by the court or appointed by Cafcass. We provide contact sessions only where the parent is our client, and will provide the parent with an recorded overview of each session. All professionals supporting in delivering this service are DBS-checked, have significant experience working with children and families, and some are qualified social workers. The focus is on supporting meaningful, child-centred contact in a safe, respectful environment.
Independent Social Work parenting assessment (court Ordered parenting assessment).
Court-Directed Parenting Assessments
I offer high-quality, court-directed parenting assessments as an independent social worker. Where required, I work alongside a small network of highly experienced, currently practicing social workers, each with over 10 years’ experience in child protection and registered with Social Work England. All do independent Social Work and I I am able to call on their support during periods of high demand to ensure timely and robust assessments, all of which are quality assured CVs and references are available on request.
